The Wee Wisdom Playbook
of the 1930s
A Book from FMN Publishing
Children of the 30s eagerly awaited their own little monthly magazines for the stories, the pictures, and best of all!- the PLAY PAGES! Here we have assembled from Helen Johnson's collection, 11 of the cutest pages- 5 of which can be considered paper dolls, as they have at least a few articles of clothing with tabs to dress a figure or two. Two are complete paper doll layouts. 4 are paper toys, with parts to cut and assemble to make a moving toy. The first 9 pages are the lovely line-art toys and paper dolls by Lucille Morgan Ison. The last 2 pages are paper dolls by Anne Westmoreland. They each are "limited color", ten of them are in shades of red and black, and one brown and black.
These are the pages included:
1. Dutch boy and girl paper doll.
