Three Restored Sheets, circa 1930s
Laser Printed on Archival 80# Cardstock
These little cuties are from a set of three square-ish cardboard paper dolls I've had for some time. They certainly are Japanese, and surely before WWII when trade was still friendly between our countries.
These kids are dressed in western style with a definite Asian look to them. The "printed in Japan" notice is in English, so I am assuming that these were made as cheap export-to-the-U.S. products for American buyers.
To format them in a rectangular shape I've added some classic Japanese patterns behind them. There are two girls, each with a dolly, and one holds an American flag. The boy has some sporting accessories.
Three archival cardstock (80#) pages, in a crystal clear seal-top bag.
