ART PRINT by JUDY M JOHNSON
"GRANDMA'S DOOR"
8.5" x 11"
This is a reproduction of my original watercolor art of the old house my mother grew up in Skandia. I lived there for a few years before we bought the house just down the street from there. The house was built in the mid 1890s by my Dad's great uncle and his grandfather. When it changed hands from the Johnsons to the Heaths it became my mother's family home and farm. So it's got the life blood of both sides of my family in it.
You understand my fondness for this house. I especially like this painting because it's the first artwork I did after a shoulder injury that I feared may have ended my painting days. Thankfully I was healed...and this is my first painting depicting the house on a sunny day, dappled with shadows from the big birch trees in front of it.
Each print is identified in small print outside the image. I will hand sign in that white area as well. Sized to fit in an easy to find frame. It looks very good in a simple black document frame. A bright color frame would be snappy too.
Will make a nice wedding or shower gift, or for a housewarming or hostess gift.
Art is laser (permanent inks) printed on archival, fine-grained, top quality 80# cardstock.
Each is presented in a crystal clear bag. Signed by me, the artist. The paper size is 8.5" x 11", the image a little smaller to accomodate the overlap of a frame. Presented in a crystal clear seal top bag.
(Of course your copy will not have those irritating watermarks.)
ONLY 50 WILL BE PRINTED
