PAT STALL 2 page PAPER DOLL
"CAROLINE and Her Personal Wardrobe"
from UFDC Doll News Spring 1987
A duplicate from my own collection of Pat's work: Here's a lovely two page paper doll from a 1986 UFDC DOLL NEWS. This is one of Pat's portrait paper dolls. We know it's a real child using her real clothes, but no last name is given. There is no printing on the back of this set.
Pat was a good friend and co-founder of OPDAG/The Original Paper Doll Artists Guild. Other initial founders (1984) who were contributing editors were Johana Gast Anderton and me, Judy M Johnson- who published the first 9 years of their newsletter-then-magazine. My daughter Jenny took over late 1990s when my work with publishers was rather intense, and she has taken the magazine to greater and wonderfully professional directions.
Pat's work has risen steadily since her passing as she was not only a superb artist, but a well loved lady in the doll and paper doll worlds. We have just this one to sell, so act quickly if you wish it for your collection.
