From Jim's old store stock we got a large selection of "Scrap" printed in England and Germany in the 1980s. Back in the early 80s I was visiting with an old German man who was a sales rep. for Shackman. He was excited about the "new" scrap available which was being printed on the same old presses, using the same old printing plates from back in as far as 1896. One German company is called "EF" and another is "Kruger."
Some history on EF company:
From the German factory of Ernst Freihoff (EF). In 1980, Ernst Freihoff took over the business of E. A. Schwerdtfeger (EAS), who had previously taken it over from Paul Zoecke (PZB). PZB was founded in 1896 in Berlin
This collection of THREE beautiful die-cut sheets is from the EF factory. They are all embossed. You cut them apart to use in your art and craft projects. Perfect for scrapbooking, cards and bookmarks, and for other collage and paper crafting projects.
I've found other sites selling similar sheets for $2-$11 each. ($5 to $11 for the Kruger sheets, and even $15 for those with glitter on them...pretty wild, hey?)
Approximate size of each sheet is 7" x 9".
