Jane Arden in the 1930s
All Cardstock Comic Collection
A Book from FMN Publishing
Jane Arden, intrepid newspaper reporter, world traveler, sometimes sleuth, adventurer, and romantic, romped through the Sunday Funnies for over 30 years. Illustrated by several people over the years, fashions were submitted by faithful fans (and aspiring designers) of the comic strip's paper doll corner, called: Jane Arden's Wardrobe.
Jane Arden entertained young girls during the depths of the depression when only a few pennies for the paper could provide many hours of fun, especially if they liked to draw more fashions for Jane and her friends.
Judy has selected a few of the cutest and most interesting designs through the paper dolls that accompanied the comic strip from 1934 and into 1941, and cleaned them up to clear bright freshness.
Single cardstock folio set. All archival 8.5" x 11" sheets, in crystal clear seal top bag.
