JAPANESE "Modern Girls"
Advertising Posters of the 1930s
I recently bought a collection of images of Chinese and Japanese vintage advertising, which I have always loved. It's so nice that I have this way to share these wonderful art pieces with you via the collections on these pages.
This is one page of really lovely Japanese ladies, of bold, colorful, and smiling models. Three of them are selling beer. The one in a flapper type outfit I think is not actually of the 20s. The look doesn't fit that time period. The lady in the white hat looks to be early 30s. The gal with the rose on her shoulder looks late 30s or even 40s. One of the gals is dressed in traditional wear, while the other three are in western garb.
I think these are pre-WWII, 1930s, and maybe even into the 40s when Japan was still living high while they were "winning the war."
Formatted to cut and use for making greeting cards, thank-you's, and invitations, as well as for your other creative paper crafting uses.
All archival: laser printed on satin-smooth 80# cardstock and presented in a crystal clear seal-top bag.
Your print will not have the watermarks, of course.
