Judy M Johnson Art Print
"REDWOODS: LIGHT and SHADOW"
8.5" x 11"
This is a painting I did after a trip to Northern California. When I headed out, I meandered up the coast enjoying the lovely scenery. When I drove through a redwood forest on curving roads, I'd move from deep shadows, into spotted light beams, which would highlight areas like magic. I kind of expected to see fairies dancing in those brilliant pools of light. While the redwoods stood in deep, rich cool tones of shadow.
This oil painting is my attempt to capture that feeling, done in a loose, Impressionist style. The original was painted on a 16" x 20" canvas.
I've made it available as a limited art print in two sizes. (Your copy will not have the watermark) This one is 8.5" x 11". Laser printed on top quality, fine-grained 80# cardstock, and ready for framing in easy-to-find standard size frame.
Only 50 will be printed. Signed by me and presented with a backing in a crystal clear seal-top bag.
