LHJ Advertising Panels
Laser Printed on 80# Cardstock
Some of the most fun looking through old magazines are those seeming inconsequential ad panels in the back pages. We don't see ads like this anymore...either the products sold or the way and wording by which they are sold. Some of the companies however endure, but the products of course, are not as charming. These will make some fun projects and gifts.
You cut them apart, add your own embellishments if you like, such as a ribbon tied through a punched hole at the top, perhaps some sparkle, and maybe even paste on a favorite motto or write on the name of a loved one. As they are black and white, you may enjoy adding some soft colors with watercolors, markers or colored pencils. Use as gift tags too.
The ads are from Ladies Home Journal Magazines:
Panels 1 (Tre-Sur makup) + 2 (Royal Worcestershire Corsets) 1923;
Panel 3 (Naturalizer Shoes) 1935;
Panel 4, 1910 has four companies represented- Manning Bowman chafing dish and coffee makers; Steero Boullion; Clark cut-glass; Hoosier Ranges and Heaters.
The pre-printed designs make fun and easy craft and gift projects to do by laser printed on archival 80# cardstock.
