8 Paper Dolls from the Pages of
Pirctorial Review, 1934-1935
by Corinne Pauli Waterall
Corinne Pauli Waterall was the sister of famed Dolly Dingle artist, Grace Drayton. They both illustrated for magazines of the 1910s-30s. You can easily see the influence of sister Grace, in Dottie Darling, likely insisted upon by the publisher in order to advantage the popularity of the Dolly Dingle series. Both sisters were accomplished artists in other styles as well as these charming kids.
