Restored 1958 Saalfield Paper Doll
From Forget-Me-Not Publishing
As all the paper doll publishers did, they got more mileage out of one title than just that first title. The clothes from this book are from the Martha Hyer book, but this likely was released a little later than 1958, by the style of the covers. They covers are entirely repainted, and the dolls are repainted but in the very same poses as the Martha dolls, so they will fit the clothes.
It's tagging onto the girl harmony groups so popular in the late 50s-early 60s, by making the four dolls singers. So the star clothes are just dandy for these gals, dressy, formal, fun, and fancy.
Four dolls, six pages of clothes.
