This is a great book for authentic historical reference, as the two pretty dolls wear gowns worn by white house ladies from 1789 to 1951. Nicely painted figures and clothes. Two dolls, with eight pages of costumes.
Costumes included were worn by:
Martha Washington, Louise Adams, Dolly Madison, Lucretia Garfield, Emily-Andrew Jackson's niece, Betty Taylor (Zachary's daughter), Sarah Van Buren, Julia Tyler, Sarah Polk, Mary Lincoln, Julia Grant, Helen Taft, Ellen Wilson, Grace Coolidge, Lou Hoover, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Bess Truman.
Reduced by about 15% from the 1951 original. Our finished stapled book size is 8.5" x 11", stored in a crystal clear Mylar seal topped bag. All archival: 80# covers, 32# interior pages.
