JUDY, A YOUNG DESIGNER
DOLL DRESSING KIT
from a late 30s Children's Play Mate Paper Doll
by Angela Tuit Price & Judy M Johnson
We have modified a three page set by Angela Tuit Price, to a four page set, so you can be a designer for the cute paper doll named Judy. (Our version is larger than the one presented in the magazine.)
There's a full color doll with a few outfits, a full color page of trims: collars, cuffs, pockets, etc. and Two pages of templates/patterns. You cut and draw around these patterns onto your own patterned papers, then add the trims included, or your own from paper lace (doilies) patterned papers, buttons, feathers, sequins etc.
We recommend using wallpaper from throw-away sample books from your local wallpaper and paint store. Some craft and scrapbooking papers are appropriate too. As well as wrapping papers. Look for small prints, plaids, stripes and textures. Some with larger designs can be creatively applied with a large design located in the center of a jacket or dress, as a splash of color and design.
You might want to pair this set- printed all on CARDSTOCK, with our wallpaper sets we have selected just for paper doll clothes making. A fun project to do with friends, and with kids.
Four 8.5' x 11" pages laser printed on CARDSTOCK and presented in a crystal clear archival seal top bag.
